This tongue-in- cheek, affectionate piece of creative writing is meant to amuse. Can you recognise yourself?

Leading the parade is the Queen; in accordance with Her Majesty, this distinguished member is extremely fond of her dogs, so much so that every throne in the house is occupied by at least one contented four legged friend. This means of course floor space is reserved for human occupants & their varied assortment of musical instruments.
Can't find the bagpipes? try looking under the dog!

Now, how about that wonderful Treasure who resides on an idyllic Island? Rumour has it that he was probably born with a box in his hands. This very knowledgeable member is also an author & constantly contributes his wit & wisdom to the forum in the most charming & down- to- earth manner.

One very shy member to the forum finds it difficult to write in English as it is not her first language, her contribution is however most valuable to others, as she manages to scour the net for YouTube videos appropriate to current subject matter & post them onto the forum

If you want to know how to downsize or post images, this person is somewhat of a technical advisor to the forum. His search on Preloved & EBay brings forth fruit in as much that he can sniff out a bargain (& a scam) in an instant!

One member appeared to masquerade as a female because his name was misunderstood for a while. Members were in admiration of ‘her ‘prowess in all things musical & technical….. It all became clear however when it was discovered a misunderstanding to the spelling of the name. His contribution to the forum is consistently & spot-on & very informative.

The Boss: all he wants for Christmas is that dispositions of all the members are as sunny as the climate he lives in!

This very busy member owns & runs his own shop; he is a wealth of information & always the gentleman. His motto is that if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all.

And so say all of us!

Nice to see a "mirror" held up in front of us!
My name only became a problem in 1988 when I moved to New Jersey. In my own language my last name was never considered as a girls name. I had been using the name as a username for years, and by now I have been using it for over 30 years so I'm not going to change it now (or ever).

But maybe the post wasn't about me after all because I'm not so sure my posts are always spot-on or informative...

Paul.

:D Such a nice post when there has been a bit of unrest.

How about the early bird with a sweet song...?

One feels quite flattered.

(please visualise a regal wave, executed with the free i.e. non-dog-stroking hand)
