... My shoulder strap busted tonight so I definitely need them...

I had an original shoulder strap break on a 1950’ish vintage Scandalli. I made a temporary fix using a short length of leather strap and several rivets. Some 20 to 30 years later, it’s still going strong !  :)

Tried this.   Had my wife make one but the material was not very comfortable.   Bought one from a place that does repairs, it was a fuzzy cloth.   Worked better but it is extremely warm and uncomfortable in hot humid weather, even inside with AC on.   Using both of them right now but need to

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you.
I have used it successfully on five of my seven accordions.
For two, the exterior material was  velvet and for the rest gabardine. The backing was eighth inch thick wool felt.
In my case, I had them made specifically for hot weather use, as the original, leather bass strap would become soggy from sweat and stick. They work just as well in winter (for me).
Still, as they say, one man’s meat is another man’s poison! :)

Does anybody know how to focus the headlights on a 2003 GMC Yukon Denali 1500?
Just kidding. Sort of.
Should be easier than replacing the bass strap according to all your tales! Very glad now that Guenadiy put a new one on the old Iorio he sold me!
Cheers

The one source I have used in the U.S. is Parts Page, HMT. I bought a bass strap and shoulder straps from them for my Giulietti Continental. They also carry shoulder straps that feature a built-in back strap. These come in a variety of sizes. If you are a larger person (180 lbs, 82 kg) you may be interested in their Elephant size back straps.

I cant remember the details, but replacing the bass strap was no big deal.
