Can one convert a PA to a CBA?

Hi, new member here. Just wondering if it's mechanically possible to transform let's say a vintage PA from the golden years into a CBA.
Sonically I found the accordions from the 60's sound better than they do today but have come across very few CBA of that era. Any thoughts?

given an unlimited budget why not, but it’s probably much cheaper to get a good vintage CBA from a region where they are relatively common.
