Good afternoon all
I have found an accordion in my new garage and am wondering if it is worth anything. It’s in a big black hard case that looks very well used with the handle having been taped up. The accordion itself looks lovely. I’ve done a bit of research and discovered that it’s a Stella bass 48. It looks to be in very good condition although the leather straps look a bit worn. It seems to play fine. Can anyone shed any light on what it might be worth and where I should take it to sell it please?

These come up for sale all the time on eBay and Facebook marketplace, and at various prices. There’s one I was considering which came with a soft case for £100. It’s been for sale for months at that price. You’ll see others advertised at even higher prices, but again they’re unlikely to sell them.
I believe these are student models of Chinese origin and as such they don’t command a very high price. Being stored in a garage isn’t good either - the bass strap looks to have mould on it, so heaven knows what it’ll be like inside (which is more important than the exterior appearance).
Facebook marketplace or eBay would be your best bet, but don’t expect too much for it. £50 -£100 maybe?
