I will be there, but doubt that I’ll be part of any massed band having had my cba for less than a week. Hoping it will reignite my playing as I’m now, to all intents and purpose, 4 fingered due to contracture of the pinky on my right hand, hence the switch. 120 bass V Soprani still for sale (£550-600 offers)if anyone interested I can bring it along, also an Excaliber wheeled hard case for 120 bass PA bought for me by my wife at great expense £120. Cash on the day.
Regards Al

Thats great Al, glad to hear you can make it, youll be very welcome.

More generally, the Rally is just a week tomorrow. If anyone else can come theyll be welcome, but please drop me a line to say youre coming. Send a PM via this forum, or email to secbar96 (at) outlook.com or there are other contact details on the flyer here,

or a bit higher up this discussion. (Cost will be £8, not £10 as it says on the flyer.)

I spoke to Nigel of Fair Deal Accordions in Birmingham. Hes sorry that he wont be able to come to the rally but its worth keeping an eye on his website, he often has nice instruments for sale.

Greatly sorry that I'll not get to the Rally this year.

I claim pressure of work and an on-going search for a new CBA that will take me to the 'Salon d' Accordéon' in Paris, which is unfortunately on the same weekend.. I can be up to Paris on the train in the morning take in 4 or 5 hours at the Salon and back home by early evening...

The SECBAR would be a five day trek for me.

So, I wish everyone a really nice day and hope it is a success and will be repeated .

Best regards,

Geoff.
