Id like to do some one on one LH teaching to see if theres enough interest. Ive been in touch with the author of The Mighty Accordion and I get the impression that even with the help of Mel Bay it was a major task for him to complete the book.
I would have reduced the amount of chord info, and included more about putting them into some practical use by using chord sequences from popular songs, not using the melody so as not to infringe copyright. The singer song writer era has produced interesting ways of working with simple chords combined with differing bass notes, many very friendly to the Stradella system.
And some simple ideas like; try not playing the LH over lead-in phrases, avoid using an alternate bass note if if its the same as the melody, etc.
Becoming fluent with the LH Major scale, and learn to play it under (in C) the chords of C G7 and F to get to grips with Slash, Over or Inverted chords.
These details can sound nice when tucked into an arrangement, creating a LH more akin to what a pianist might play.
Mastering the 6/8, because it can be the way-in to other rhythms, the Tango for example..
