First time poster here, I'm new to the Roland FR7X and the FBC-7. My problem is specific to the organ set. I have my foot switch 3 set to Rotary Speed Slow and switch 4 set to Rotary Speed Fast. If I'm playing and select slow it won't stay slow, it'll start to speed up again with out me touching the other pedal. Then the same happens on switch 4 only in the Reverse, only some times it will slow down.

So I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong. The accordion had a full factory reset before I got it. I have double checked that the foot switches are set to the correct setting and they are. Any ideas?

the first thing i would suspect is simply that the keyboard
aftertouch is also set to trigger the "Leslie"
and as these get older and the first keystop wears
under some keys and it is almost impossible not to
trigger aftertouch when playing normally

second thing is dirt,, so i would change the settings to
pedal 1 and pedal 2 and see if the problem stays the
same or if it improves.. then a teardown and cleaning
of the connectors and switches in the pedalboard
might be in order

third thing is the cable,, it is very easy for these cables to
get funny and cause problems.. if you can borrow one
from a friend, swap it out.. the pedalboard is sending
control info only up to the accordion, the "leslie" is in
the accordion, not in the pedalboard, which is why the
cable is still a critical part of the "path" to complete the action

that's all i can think of, good luck
