Hey everyone,
I just got a fr1x and everything felt way off between pulling and pushing in order to achieve an even volume. I was pulling about a 7 out of 10 and pushing at about 3 to achieve even volumes. This weird dynamic makes changing directions very unnatural. Fixed the bellow curve from X Light, X Heavy and everything in between, messed with the airflow wheel and nothing seemed to get it feeling right
I did a bellow calibration reset by pressing the orchestra bass button and orchestra chord/free bass button together while turning the unit on and waited to it displayed “don” (done) and then tested it…
The problem literally switched directions now. Took me an effort of 3/10 pulling to 7/10 pushing to achieve even sound.
Is there a mode you can enter to adjust this ratio manually?
Other side note, the 8x and 4x I own allow you to set a minimum velocity level which is kind of like a hybrid between a fixed velocity (where you don’t need to move your bellows at all) and the bellow curve modes (where you pull and push). I enjoy setting a minimum velocity on my other units which allows for a better transition between pulling and pushing so there isn’t a silence gap.
Is there a way to set a minimum velocity value on the 1x?
