Awesome job, sounds great...nice tune! To my ear (the layman) the tuning sounds excellent. For what it's worth, the pallets were major on my verdi II...and didn't turn out 100%. It is likely that to obtain 100% will require re-boring of all the keys and a new (larger diameter) spindle - so your assessment is probably right as I found there was very little room for play in terms of pallet alignment thus requiring NO slop in the keys whatsoever; although my 'fix' in this regard is good enough for an old beater instrument such as mine. Really nice work on the waxing!
