They dont mention the V-accordion specifically anywhere... but ever since the leak of the FR-9x from Romania earlier this year, we can say almost certainly that it is merely an evolutionary change, not revolutionary... and since the Bugari uses 100% Roland electronics, its not likely because of the release of the Bugari because sonically they are identical and come from the same manufacturer. :)

Whatever new electronics they release, the Bugari Evo will most certainly be available with them, but if Roland is smart, theyll release it to Bugari at a later date to give the Roland brand first chance on the market.

Just think... there is a possibility of getting a new Roland 9x that is cheaper than a new Bugari with 8X electronics! :D

The new "V" accordion model or style will not be a replacement for the FR-8x. at the moment the info is Hush Hush. I plan to If I can, or permitted, provide info here by the 7th of this week.

Hey hey, Jim is our link to the inside! :D :D
Thanks Jim, that would be nice of you!

Ha Ha! Yep you're most likely correct. Let's say I hope not. My wife said I would pray for death if I bought another box!!

Death would be to eazie and quick.
Pain and suffering for a long time is more what I am afraid of!

I think the subject of this thread is deviating :)

Wouldn't it be a bit comically ironic if they used the same video that was leaked earlier this year from Romania on YouTube?

We'd already know what it looked like and a bit of what it sounded like. :)

Ok sorry. Back to the subject at hand.

Hey Jim, what's the good word?

The Roland dealer I have allegiance with, has instructed me not to provide any info at this time. But I can say this - the new news will not be groundbreaking but more informative.

Well the introduction of a replacement for the 3x has been long awaited.
After many phone calls this Morn. Ive been advised to hold off comments on the new introdution for its replacement for two more weeks here in the US.
This new model has been LONG AWAITED as many of us 60 to 70+ (Old Fart) owners of the 7x for years now have not switched to the suberb 8x because of its larger size and weight.
The current model 3x is a fine machine but when having owned a 5, 7, 7x model with their informative screens find it difficult to work with a 3 or 3x with a screen that uses codes that you must memorize.
Many Roland accordion performers and artists (with a 8x available) such as Cory Pesaturo - Richard Noel - and Yours Truly have stayed with the 7x as their Main Sqeeze.
This new 4x has been long awaited and may be a very successful new product.
This new Roland will be a god sent for me as for years now Ive been using an acoustic box, and a Roland 7x for performances while sitting or strolling.
Im working a gig this Sun. (all strolling ) 4 hours, with 2 venues and 1 as myself, for the last hour Ive already borrowed a 3x to finish the gig. At 70 hope the legs hold up this year
On Sept 18th we will be having a Roland seminar at --
http://www.falcettimusic.com/ -- and hopefully have some hands on news of the new Box.
