G. Verde accordions are practically unknown in the US, but I’ve encountered two players who have them. One has had his for a long time. Another has custom ordered his through a dealer who seens to have acquired the line a couple of years ago. They seem to be quality instruments.

Alex handled them 20 years ago..it looks like he still does
on his main page C. Pez is shown playing some fancy street model

at a AAA convention here in DC back then, Alex had a very bejewweled
G Verde compact model at his display

Merv Cohn saw it, played it, bought it on the spot and strolled around
with it until he passed away some years later,
pretty much only taking it off to sleep and bathe

and that is all i know about that brand

I think they have a good reputation. There are many for sale second hand in Europe particularly France. There is 1 Italian young generation accordionist who plays more pop style intreptrations who promotes their chromatic line his name escapes me.

I know who you mean, but I also can’t recall his name.

I bought one this year from a fella in Italy. It’s a very well made box, MM, C#/D with great power for a 2 reed box. 5 reed bass is loud. 3rd removal switch on the bass. The RHS action is excellent - smooth, stable and quiet.
