Cory’s great, the pianist will do OK or better the more she practices those accents, but the dog steals the show😀

But seriously, accents don’t have to be made with dynamics. They can also be made with articulation. For example, if a bunch of staccato notes in a fast passage surround a more legato note, the legato note is perceived as accented even though it isn’t hit harder on the piano. If you watch Cory, he’s applying accents without changing bellows movement or employing the velocity sensitivity of his FR-7x.
