Whilst browsing through the Danish internet, found this accordionist called Lelo Nika, a Serbian Romani player who lives in Denmark.
He plays the Serbian 6 row Dugmetara B system CBA accordion, and is unusual in that he plays in the Romanian style, with cimbalom (the dulcimer type instrument). He is acknowledged as one of the finest exponents of the Serbian accordion. His bass player is Danish.
Two clips. The first one is mercifully short for those of you who just dont like that sort of music.
If you get past the first one, have a listen to Serbian jazz/blues in the second clip. I guarantee youll hear accordion sounds youve never heard before. (if its too boring just go to 3.50 and listen to the end part)
