Well played. English traditional music doesn't get the exposure it should.
The tune I Gave My Love a Cherry is known as Shanagolden in Ireland and The Twelfth of Never in the USA, sung by Elvis and Johnny Mathis etc.

It's very true, I only learnt this English tune from friends in the states!In the States we mostly know it from this famous movie scene:
