Another piano teaching source I find immensely helpful for learning free bass is Marine LaCoste’s onlinerocklessons[dot]com. Classically trained, she’s a keyboardist for groups like Uncle Kracker and Cory Hart & Highway Hunters. I stumbled across her site when looking for an arrangement of Green Onions. Discovered she’s put together, composed, literally 100s of exercises and little etudes equivalent to Czerny and Hanon books, but with a blues and rock vibe.
