Nice to watch from beginning to the end, some accordion fun at a wedding party:

lorganetto più piccolo del mondo IVANO DE SIMONE

dont try this at home
or maybe do try this at home

This reminds me of finnish accordionist Lasse Pihlajamaa who also was a musical clown. I dont think he is too funny in this video but at least he is original:

Thanks for the Lasse Pihlajamaa video, I hadnt seen that one yet.

I have a question here for this forum about the little accordion he is using, what brand is it?
Is this model for sale? Or was it a unique specimen specially made for him??

I am looking for such a 5 row (!) little toy box, with a few major and minor basses, what a little super box.

Reminds me of Miqueu Montanaros little piano accordion:

As for the clownesque:

I dont know.
But I have a piqture of him with the same accordion but with letters on it instead of the question mark as in the video. It reads O.Y. harmonikka and there is another word there too but too small to be possible to read. (He must have taken the letters of at some piont and added the Q-mark later).

I dont know if you have tried this but if not :

http://www.mercatinomusicale.com/cerca/organetto-2-bassi.html

I have seen other similar piccolo on YT so I think that there may well be a production model....like a travel gheetar...smaller and pokey ...but big fun.

Under the map of Italy there is a list of products and there is an entry for Organetto 2 bass mini

Yes I know the mercinatomusicale website. A few months ago I had a look at the 2 bassi, 4 bassi and 8 bassi organetti.
They have quite a range of these dubotte and organetti in Italy.
I prefer the unisonoric models Michel Montanaro and Lasse Pihlajamaa are playing in the videos.
I saw the Duo Montanaro in a live gig some months ago in Belgium.

The Pihlajamaa little chromatic button accordion (4 x 3 = 12 basses, or 5 x 3 = 15 basses ? I cant really tell in the video, unclear) seems to be having 2 full octaves on the melody side. With that you can do quite a lot. And if his little box has major and minor chords, then it becomes really interesting.

The Busato firm in France in the 1950s already produced a prototype:
Modèle réduit de latelier BUSATO, Paris (circa 1950)
(un des plus petits accordéons du monde connu)
the photo is here: http://www.boite-accordeon.com/galerie5.html

Joseph Fiers from Bruges, Belgian accordionist, also had one little box made for him:

(in the photo its the little one resting on the chair)

The Big Fiers is actually in a Holland accordion museum, you can see the pics here:

Dutch TV show with item with the biggest accordion:

There are more than 1 biggest accordion, I suppose every accordion museu has got his records.

Im more interested in the smallest practical accordion, for busking outdoors (light weight !)...

I would very much like to know the exact weight in kg of the little Fiers, the little Pihlajamma cba and the Montanaro mini piano accordion...

Someone an idea?
