I tried the big Yahoo! accordion group and it seems to be too unorganized, so I quit it. I registered at Accordionist.org Forum, but my account never got approved. So, it looks like this is the place to be. Enough activity but still kind of new and small.

Accordion is popular for polkas here, but I never got into polkas much.

I might post sheet music for these if I get MuseScore figured out.

Hi lightninboy. Welcome to our site. Many helpful people here. There are many other sites for accordionists, though I think this is the best. One specializing in country, Tex-Mex, Cajun etc is run by Gilberto Reyes, a product manager at HohnerUSA. The forum's website is reyesaccordions.com. Good luck and good playing!

Welcom I to am an non trad player. Mostly play in bands. I like to play with people. I've played most of the songs on you're list. Sorry can't help with sheet music. Mostly play by ear.

Oh, what type box do you use? For what I call cowboy country I usa a sonola ss6 double tone chamber. For a wet sound I have a honner vox4 with 3 middle reeds. Use a line six floor pod for fx. Just got a roland 3x and now opened up a hole new can of worms.

I use an old 120-bass piano Noble. I'm basically still a beginner.

I should learn Little Deuce Coupe and Shut Down by The Beach Boys, because here’s what I used to remember the order of the bass buttons:

Beach Boys flathead (Bb, Eb, Ab)
Sharp Corvette (C#)
Sharp Ford (F#)
Beach Boys (B, E, A)
Dodge (D,G)
Corvette (C)
Ford (F)
Beach Boys flathead (Bb, Eb, Ab)
Flathead Dodge (Db, Gb)
Flathead Corvette (Cb)
E (E)
A (A)
And then there’s three notes between the basses and the alternate basses.

I got a song onto MuseScore. Mama Never Got to Rock Us by Bill Anderson. I put it into 2/4 time, so I guess it qualifies as a polka. Play it as fast as you can sing the words. I use the C bass button for all the chords.

4/10/2018 edit: I wrote my tune to Mama Never Got to Rock Us to the lyrics found on the Internet. It turns out I had never heard the actual song. The real song was posted on YouTube in January, and it is a lot slower than my version.

I got a song onto MuseScore. The Last Cowboy Song. I cut it off short like The Highwaymen, but I kept the Ed Bruce lyrics. 3/4 waltz. CEE and BDD on the bass buttons. C, B and E are no problem, but the D complicates things, so I cut out most of the button work. And its hard to play the keyboard and constantly change buttons precisely.

I got a song done. Snakedance by The Rainmakers. 2/4 time. I use the D bass button.

I see I can't display more than five scores on MuseScore with a free account, so I converted the mscz file to a PDF file and I uploaded it to here.

I got a song done. Streets of Bakersfield. I did the original 1973 Buck Owens version and modified it a little. 2/4 time. It seemed hard to match bass buttons to it and maybe it sounds better without bass buttons.

I got a song done. Lynda by Steve Wariner. It seems like the instrumentals are usually the hardest part of a song to figure out. 2/4 time. I use the D, A and G bass buttons.
