Turbosounds is awesome because it features a whole collection of instruments from Accordions, to Brass, & all the fun stuff. I love using it for Tejano Music because fun fact Tejano Music came from Obekrainer Music. I do play Bajo Sexto (and Bajo Quinto) when I do a new genre that I call "Tejanokrainer" (Obekrainer Music w/ a Tex-mex twist) because Obekrainer Music has been the inspiration behind Tex-Mex Music. It would be amazing if it was available for Android Devices so I can do some interesting "Tejano meets Obekrainer" covers of my favorite songs

Yes, as we have discussed, it was Schultze who brought that music to Tex Mex via the bayou. Just sayin’

You can play Obekrainer Music w/ a Tex Mex Twist by using the Tejano Instrumentation (Accordion as usual for Lead & the Rhythm part on Bajo Quinto/Bajo Sexto).

Cool!

I think the Turbo Sounds app should be available for Android too (and even PC & Mac) so it can get alot of popularity for song covers
Sounds good. I’ve tried using other sounds with my Roland but I am not very technically inclined.

But turbo sounds is good in quality
That’s good to know, thanks! If I ever get back to trying new sounds I will definitely check out these turbo sounds.

You are right... hmmm. Possible troll. Proper users respond when people reply and DON'T ask questions about things that they are promoting.
Let me take a 180 degree approach to this and check it out.

- well, for a second I thought that turbosounds didn't exist, it didn't show up until the 4th page on a google search... lol
- found it, installed it and removed it right away.

This app is one of those uber expensive subscription only apps. $69.99US/month or get this... $599.99US per year! That comes out to a whopping $96/month or $822/year. Glad I was sitting down for that one... lol

Yeah, I am not even going to test it out. I am so completely against the subscription only model. If I like it, I want to pay a reasonable amount for it ONCE and enjoy it. I do not mind paying for major updates.

Not for me.

You can try it out for free, WITH a set of instruments…limited obviously, but it will give you a set you can actually use. Then you can purchase individual instruments. That way, you only pay for what you need, and you DO NOT need to purchase a costly subscription. I have been using it for about five years. It is decent, but I prefer my Ketron for every day use. I use baritone, bass, guitar, and a Morino sound. You can save set ups for each tune you play. It also has an “ arranger “ function. So it will operate somewhat like a BK-7M ….Basically, I use it for Oktoberfest. The Ketron gets the call for the rest of the year.

I read that also AND saw a video that said the same which prompted me to download it on my iPad, but if you check them out on the Apple Store, it did not come with any instruments and only had 2 payment options... monthly and yearly. Even if it was amazing, I'd pass. I don't believe in renting software.

I have a Ketron X4 and a BK-7m, glad to know that you still find the arranger a more viable option. If I need a Morino sound, I just put on my Hohner Morino VI N (yes I know they mean the Morino IV or V with the Slavko tuning, which is different from my VI N). :D

Just checked the app store about thirty seconds ago...the free app, allows you to have a small selection of instruments to use to test the app out.
You do not " rent" instruments, or the app. The app with three instruments is totally free...so for roughly 50 or 60 dollars in total, after purchasing a very few instruments, , you have a good useable application. There is also an arranger function available, that works like a BK,7M.
It Aint no SD40, or BK-7M but it is rock solid, and quite useable. For the arranger part, there are three or four companies that supply specialised arrangement/rhythms, designed specifically for Turbo Sounds..... you could spend a heap of money on THEM, but if you have any ability whatsoever, you can adapt each rhythm to about ten or twenty tunes, and save them for use like using a BK or Ketron. The rhythm guitar sounds are particularly good. Baritone is good too. the wood winds are decent if you know how to use them.

Of all the things I do, video of me playing has never been one of my talents. I play three nights and one afternoon a week, I repair for others….I teach, and occasionally, I will compose ….that’s it. Oh and look after the yard…and help with the daily housework. No time left…as they say …I need to get another fire, because I have too many irons in this one.
