suggested music for nursery children

it was quite tough deciding what to leave in / leave out

there are so many songs out there :shock:

trouble is i dont play that many songs

depending how it goes it could become an annual event :roll:

so alouette will be considered nxt time

tiny tots show went well

they were attentive and seated for longer than normal

an hour was a long time though - towards the end of the hour i resorted to walking the floor and playing

some clapped, some danced , some sang inc. leaders

a leader said she liked the intro - this was something i made up so had no name !

i was surprised and impressed with the clapping - there may be some budding musicians there

i had a clapping section to get them clapping which went very well as some started clapping on their own :!: and seemed to be keeping good time

a good experience overall and will start planning a bigger and better next year :ugeek:

no

it was a gig where the audience darted around the room the most doing different activities tho and i was worried about taking someone out by accidentally hitting them with my accordion (which obscured my vision a bit)

oh forgot to say a lady baked me a cake too

well this is in the diary again for this year and have started to think about a plan

i dont really know that many more tunes so may make use of the original play list

my main aim is to cut the session down from 1 hour to half hour / 45 mins

wondered if anyone had any other ideas to bear in mind :idea:
