I'm having a really hard time finding anything on my new purchase. Is there anyone that could help?

The accordion you have is a student model Excelsior Rio. It's a US made model by the then Excelsior firm on Mulberry St., NY, New York. These were made in the 40's to the mid 50's. What look like shifts on the grill are rocker switches.

I see it's getting a Cat scan! No results from the Cat Scan yet? You have a beautiful gray cat!
