Nice one, thank you - I've just printed off Indifference and the Muppet Show theme, although I probably won't combine them in a medley...

But I thought you liked a challenge Anyanka?
I also printed off "Indifference". I couldn't resists.

It was so nice to see the squeezeboxcircle mentioned. Its just down the road from where I live. They meet on the first thurs of every month to practise the music chosen for the month, and for a general show and tell.

Hey, hop on a plane, train or bus and join us!!!

Nathen

I'd love to Nathen.
Perhaps in my next life I'll get the chance.
It's good to see such an active club and a well maintained website.

Thanks. I'll edit these into the initial post when I get back from my travels and have access to a proper computer.

Thanks mjh,
They look devilishly difficult when you gauge from YouTube just how fast and fluid they are meant to be played some of them.

Two links to some Italian tunes. This is Southern Italian music, all aimed at organetto players but could be used by any accordionist as it stands or as a basis for learning some typical licks and patterns in a Southern Italian style. The second set of links are linked to some extent to some You Tube teaching videos by Mario Carbone which again are based on the organetto but could be applied to others, perhaps.

There are some simple dots on http://www.organetto.it/pages/spartiti.html

and down the right hand side on http://www.organetto.net/index.php?opti ... &Itemid=66.

Another site for Traditional Music from around the globe is http://www.traditional-songs.com

Thanks Jim, I'll add it to the list.

~Not particularly Accordion but given the interest in classical music being shown by some of you more intellectually inclined, and I preclude myself from that august group, here is a great value for money site ........$5.99 per month and all the free sheets of music that you can eat !!..........If you only download one score each month I reckon you got your money back :tup: ....compared to what you would pay in the shops :tdown: .......Happy Squeezing {}
