Peg O' My Heart

George played a fine rendition of "Peg 'O' My Heart.
The song "After You've Gone" is a truly different tune --

Great playing and nice sound. I used to play this song with my dads band when I was in college on piano. He played a cordovox at the time. People always sang along, must have been a real popular song in its day. Before my time!

It's still very popular here in the US mainly played at Irish /American gatherings. --- (Wish I had a Nickle for every time I've played this.)

It was made popular here in 1947 Pop music by the "3 Suns". ---

Sounds very much like George's version

Actually, George's version sounds like the three suns version :) That's where I got the Three differents keys G-E flat-F from...and to try to play the song REAL SLOW. I had to use FINALE PrintMusic to enter from a lead sheet I had and then transpose...some musicians can do this in their head but no way could I do it.
