Sorry that I recorded this on piano, this being an accordion forum! The piano is still easier for me to compose and arrange on, and I was in a hurry not to forget the tune. It came to me when driving back from the shopping mall. It's supposed to be an accordion song though. 
I'm thinking of calling this one "I met her, and she's lovely" because the words fit the melody of the first verse.
So the lyrics will be about a guy telling someone else about a great first date, his expectations going forward, etc.
Both the song and the tone of the lyrical theme sound to me like a 1920s-1940s jazz kind of song. I can't seem to compose much outside of that style nowadays.
I especially liked it because the second chord is already off the diatonic scale. It just came to me like that, not intentional.
Middle 8 and improv solo in the middle still to come...
