MIDI cable conn.from FR-3X to Laptop audio transfer ?

The Roland FR-3X has a 2 way Midi socket ( in or out ). Is it feasible to connect a Midi cable with suitable cable end connectors from the FR-3X to a Laptop to record direct to the Laptop whilst playing tunes on the accordion please ?

I am not sure about if the FR-3x can or cannot (it *should* be able to), but it is possible to capture MIDI information from a MIDI out and capture it. First you need a MIDI adapter (I use a Reaper for this.
