Well... First of all I would definitely NOT recommend buying the Fisa Compact PA version. 37 keys is just too limiting, especially for an instrument that's this expensive. But the CBA version is interesting because it has the same number of notes as the large version, and in C system it should go down to C which means that in LM and with 8vb it can double-up as a bass accordion. So I would be getting a regular accordion and a bass accordion all in one.
That said, it's unlikely that "a lot of other people" will buy one too. I'm only potentially recommending the Fisa Compact for C system CBA players.
I liked what I heard in the first demos already, but what really tipped me over was the series of videos Uwe Steger made, explaining many things about the Fisa used as an accordion. The only thing that popped up that is still questionable is that on the Fisa you cannot control the relative volume between different selected reeds. So it remains to be seen whether for me the balance between the L, M and H reeds on the same type of selected accordion mode is good enough. I have different accordions with a different balance between L, M and H, and I find having that mix very useful.
Of course the other thing that tipped the balance is that my wife agreed with me buying a Fisa. (That first of all implies that she too likes the sound of the Fisa.)
