The MIDI Association regularly lists awards it has given to innovators in the world of MIDI. This issue lists several awards for hardware prototypes, and includes two accordion-like devices. Although both are very similar to devices we have already seen and discussed on this forum, I would like to bring them to the forum's attention with the following caveats:
1. The language in the videos associated with the items appears to be Russian, or closely related to Russian. But, rather than post the videos here, I suggest going to the MIDI Association's website so that you can read those related descriptions of the items, lists of features, etc. The website is:
https://midi.org/innovation-awards
and the two items are Digital Flex Accordion and Partymaker.
2. Please remember that these are prototypes and their designers have not yet found commercial organizations that might produce them.
Of course, those of you who get the MIDI Association newsletter by email will already have this information.
