I found this for sale, but I'm not sure if it means that is a custom build accordion from petosa. Thank you!

"P" can stand for a lot more than "Petosa." You'll want to examine it to see what condition it's in, and whether it suits your musical needs. Don't rely on the reputation of an American music store than might (but just as easily might not) have ordered it from some unknown builder in Italy.

I doubt it is a Petosa as well. First off, Petosa is made at Zero Sette and they always place the full "Petosa" name on the front of all their accordions, and Zero Sette is owned by Bugari. :)

just out of curiosity, how many other accordion factories in Italy did
the Petosa company/family have relationships with
over the many decades BEFORE 07 came into existence ?

The photo is of a student model Rivoli. Rivoli's were a line of student model accordions made by Sonola.
Now most of them were imported here with the Rivoli badge but some dealers & music studios had them
imported with thier own name & badge.
This one looks like a model made for P. Napoli of Seattle, Washington.
