I have searched the site for instructions on how to post a youtube video or a video I nave created.

How do you post videos? I've tried Link, Media, Insert Image.

To insert a Youtube video you can click on Media first:

post1.jpg

Then you can paste the full Youtube link to the video there on the box as per below:

post2.jpg

It's going to look something like this on your post text, before you actually click on Post:

(MEDIA=youtube)uOcKF-aLHyw(/MEDIA)
But with brackets instead of parentheses.
That's normal.

If I remember correctly, you can also paste Google Drive link to audio/video file instead of Youtube link there, if that is where the file is.
But please remember to make the Google Drive file public before sharing, I think that by default it's private.

Hope that helps!

How do I post YouTube videos?
This is so simple even I can do it 😄
(My only piece of IT gear is an old iPhone 3M)
•Bring your chosen video up on your screen.
•Go to the send icon at the bottom of the screen.
•Select the "copy" option.
•Open your message on the forum "your answer " page.
•Enter the cursor where you want the video to be.
•Highlight the cursor.
•Select "paste".
•Tap "send".
Bob's your uncle!🙂

Here’s another way….

Open the YouTube video in another tab in your browser.

“copy” the YouTube address from the address bar (the URL). It will look something like this:

https://m.youtube.com/watch? v=9MSGT_kpU9I

(I have inserted a space after the ? so it will show up).

Remove everything after the v= field if necessary. If part of a playlist, for example, there will be more stuff.

“Paste” the URL into you post or reply.

Your browser will convert it to an embedded YouTube video.

Good luck!
