Hello all,

I have been "lurking" on the forum for some time now and decided to finally introduce myself.

I live very close to Castelfidardo in Italy, studied piano accordion for several years as a kid, but then took a long break from playing.

I own an acoustic accordion but also a Korg digital one (formerly I had a Roland Fr4x). The digital accordion is so important because is enabling me to wear my headphones and study whenever I want/can, even in the middle of the night. I doubt that I could ever go back to playing the accordion without this possiblity.

So, I hope to improve in the future, and of course being part of this forum and learning from everyone here.

See you in the forum!

Welcome to the group! What type or genre of music do you play? What type of accordion button or piano? The silent feature of an electric accordion has great appeal to me, my wife and dog would like this also!

Benvenuto/a Giga!

I don't have a favourite genre yet, although I like french musette a lot, and also traditional music of my region... which is difficult to me because it is very fast and best played on the diatonic accordion.

I play the piano accordion, the story behind that is quite singular/funny because when I was a kid and beginning my first instrument I didn't care about the accordion, I wanted to learn the piano, but the piano classes were full. So the school proposed to begin in the piano accordion class saying "it is a similar instrument, and maybe he can switch to piano later once we have room..."

But I stuck to the accordion and never left
