Hello to all,

I recently picked up these accordion cases in a large purchases.. I wasn't sure what they were at first.

Two of them say Cordovox.. which helped me narrow it down.

Is there much demand for these large cases? Current value?

Thanks D

If they aren’t musty smelling and are generally serviceable they might be worth the cost of shipping them to someone that wants them.

Welcome Disbo🙂👍!
Those Cordovox cases (I have one, identical, housing a 19.25" keyboard Giulietti model F. 74, 41/140, PA) are the crème de la crème of piano accordion cases and perfect for 41/120 19 inch keyboard accordions.
In good shape they should easily fetch $100 each: just see what is charged for "new" hard cases of inferior quality.
Of course, you have to"fish in the right waters "!🙂
Many times, used accordions come with very inferior "cardboard " cases or have lost them altogether. These Cordovox cases are the perfect answer!👍
(Let them pay for their own shipping!)
(I would happily buy your's if I were not already provided for and didn't live on the other side of the globe!)

Several accordions ago I used to have a case like that to go along with my Moreschi 41/120 PA. I would sometimes stand it up along the shortest side and used it as a stool quite frequently. This gave me a 20 inch high seat when I was tired standing. I wouldn't dare to do that with a modern case.

Hello,

I tried to create a post but it is telling me this? It has said this for a few days?

I'm not aware of there being any problems.

Disbo,
Log off, log on and try again: I'd love to hear what you eventually did with your Cordovox accordion cases!🤔

I actually had 3 Cordovox and one Super V and I ended up shipping them in the original boxes.. Too much hassle to go buy and pack them at UPS..

I have the same issue when trying to post a new thread. Log off and log on didn't solve that, unfortunately. Is it possible that the posting requires a specific internet explorer (e.g. chrome)?

Your issue is that your first two posts must be approved by a moderator before they actually appear on the forum. This is one of the ways we keep the forum clear of spammers.
As you now have 2 two post, future posts you make will appear automatically on the forum.

For what it's worth, I received a similar message ("Oops! We ran into some problems.") this weekend while trying to start a thread in the Makes & Models forum regarding a Pancordion Baton. I'm hoping that since this is my second post to this list, I'll be cleared to try uploading there again!
