The more traditional Basque players use the little diatonic trikitixa, but CBA is also used in the north, and PA in the south.

Here is a Fandango from that part of the Basque country that is situated in Spain, played on PA by Enrike Zelaia.

Thanks, John. Will send this to my friend David Romdvedt, who plays the trikitixa and presents Basque musicians every year in Buffalo, Wyoming. He recently spent a few months in Spain studying the music.
I’ve done a few concerts of Basque music with David and his daughter Caitlin. If you can find someone who plays it, I highly recommend the experience. Great fun, not hard, and dancers have a blast.
