This is a new release from Joxan Goikoetxea, a Spanish Basque accordionist and composer. (He plays a wooden Victoria Cadenza, which I wish was mine.)
It is an oratorio in memory of a Basque poet who died in 2010. Chamber orchestra including a little bit of accordion, soloists, chorus, the full bit. It will remind you a great deal of a classical requiem: some intense moments, some quiet contemplative moments. It is reassuring to know that there are some modern composers who are writing neither pop nor wildly bizarre dissonant stuff.
Proceed at your own risk (you will not hear the accordion much- if you listen, you're listening to hear choral music in a language you can't understand, and see how much feeling you can still absorb from it.) A 14-movement, 65-minute playlist:
