Anybody knows which piece this is? Got this sheet music yesterday and been told its Bachs Aria. Apparently in C major but couldnt find any more information about it (couldnt even understand the title because its in Russian). Better if you can provide the BMV number. Any comment will be appreciated.

Sorry, I do not have a BWV number, but from the notes it looks like this piece:

The title on your notes does say Aria - C Major.

That's "Schaffs mit mir, Gott", BWV 514.

It's from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, and like much of the contents of that book, it might not have actually been written by Bach. Still quite lovely though!

Thanks very much Jeff! Now I can find more performance on Youtube with different instruments. :D

Interestingly I couldn't find this one on my "Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach". :)
This is a beautiful piece!!

Thanks Morne! That looks exactly the same as my teacher's book! (I will confirm that next time I go to her place). How did you find that? You know Russian?

I have an almost identical arrangement arranged by Lilia Bender from her book published by Musikverlag Jetelina of Durchhausen. I'm pretty sure that Hohner Verlag do one as well for accordion.
