I wouldnt worry: its a verbatim repeat of an earlier reply of him to a completely generic joke about politics from me. So its likely that he just reposted because of a misunderstanding between him and his Internet browser about what he wanted to read or write.
I came to the accordion when I turned 65, and despite having played piano for more than half a century, I still find it a challenge (Im 68 now). Ive made progress over the 3 years ive been playing, but Im still a mediocre accordionist at best. But my advice is to not worry about it! Have fun! If you want to play in a band, find other geezers whove recently started playing their instruments and revel in each others struggles. The point of playing is to enjoy yourself doing it, musical warts and all!
BY THE WAY -- Ive chronicled my accordianic struggles on http://www.accordionweb.com -- you might enjoy them.
