How do I add texture to the C and F buttons on my Dallape six-row CBA in a non-destructive manner? I know I could file a “waffle” pattern into the surface, but I don’t really want to do anything permanent like that. I don’t know for sure, but I’m pretty confident the buttons are glued, not screwed.

The best non-destructive way to add texture to C and F is to order textured buttons and replace the old ones for new ones. Whether this really works depends on whether you can find buttons with matching color.
However... if it is a six-row CBA then it is likely a flat B-system, and those buttons may be harder to find than buttons for a stepped keyboard...

You could try these non-destructive options:

- Adhesive grip dots (like those for guitars or keyboards) cut to size.
- Sugru moldable silicone to add temporary ridges.
- Thin textured tape (e.g., skateboard grip tape) applied lightly.
- Nail polish or epoxy dabbed in a pattern for texture.

Test on a less visible spot first to ensure no residue.

Personally, I can't be bothered: just go straight for the dimple. You won't regret it!😄
(Make sure you have the right buttons!)
