This is an authentic very old low-end student model made by Scandalli.
It may still play well (impossible to say from these pictures of course) but obviously it cannot compete with the higher-end models that are actually worth money...

A well desired authentic 2 voice student accordion. If in decent playable shape I would start at $150, more if in impeccable shape with good straps and case, and a sweet sound. Value is extremely variable, and also very dependent on the market you inhabit. Your results will vary greatly. I do hope, however, that you play it and find happiness and enlightened joy, thereby making our tired world a little brighter. Thank you.

That's what we like to hear. If you know what kind of music you want to venture into, you'll be sure to find good advice where to find material for practising here!
That's good to hear. Because this means that likely the valves are still good (an accordion with valve problems does not work perfectly) and it likely only needs tuning (you can easily hear whether it needs tuning by playing octaves in the register without tremolo) and that should not cost much more than the value of the accordion.

The more I try to find out about accordion makes and models, the more I realise that it's a minefield - and a shambles of misleading information. Identification of individual accordions is hampered by the apparent lack of a reputable source of identification information, pictures, etc. Sometimes...
