A neat trick!?

Nice effect. But since one cannot really see one’s own hand while playing, this trick is more of a visual crowd-pleaser than anything else, no? …assuming the material that the cloth is made from, and its placement/stability, was thoughtfully chosen to not appreciably affect the player’s feel of the keyboard.

Just tried it (of course). Main problem seems to keeping the cloth in in place so that it does not slode around and bunch up under your fingers. If you can achieve that the only problem is the initial positioning of your hands. Sometimes I got it, sometimes not but it was pretty easy to feel where you are on the keyboard through the cloth before starting rather than playing and relying on your ear to correct the position. I am sure a bit of practice and it would get easier, especially if you are only doing it for one short song.
But like when piano player play blindfolded even though, like the accordion, you don't need to see your hands to play really.
