The bass strap usually requires some minor disassembly of the lhs in order to disengage and thread through and refilt the old strap with the new. There are videos demonstrating this (on the link above).![]()
Personally, I think the fr4 straps are pretty nice, but would benefit greatly from a backstrap (which I have not tried yet). Might be all you need. I like the adjustment on them. I actually cannot find webbing style ones in Oz...found some decent (apparently Italian leather) ones.
