WIDI U-Host - 3-in-1 USB MIDI Bluetooth Solution

I am gonna pass on this one. Have a functioning system. Eliminated all my Bluetooth LE, except the Irig Blueboard which connects to my iPad. Using the camera kit connected to arranger device port. Had too many drop outs on gig...

Likewise...it may be me, but I currently don't see a need for this in my setup. My only wireless MIDI need was to get the signal from the 8X to the arranger, and their last product met my needs there. I am enjoying not needing a MIDI cable from the accordion out... on to a wireless stereo setup and for the time being... I am done.

Next year (which isn't all that far away), comes the iPad Pro, and connectivity to get the BK7m and arranger controlled with the flick of a page of PDF music! :)

I am glad you are enjoying wireless midi. I have a second generation iPad mini that still works for my needs. Use it as a backup. regretted Buying the large one...I have to flex it sometimes to get the touch screen to work...new ones are thinner...next time I will go with standard size...but if you need the larger size, I still 99.9% satisfied...

WidiMaster upgrade in future will enable you to merge accordion and iPad?

Here is the end game goal... to be able to use the iPad Pro as the PDF repository of all my music needs, and with an integrated app, be able to have the act of turning to a new song on the iPad choose a new a specific custom user program on the 8X and to choose a rhythm that is saved on a USB on the BK-7m (specific rhythm, speed, starting and ending sequences), the accordion has to be completely wireless, the rest of the entire setup does not need to be wireless.

Also, I'd like the iPad to be able to be run off of mains power, not it's own, so that I don't need to worry about battery life since it is always close to the arranger (ie: electrical power source) anyway.

Where would the WIDI U-Host fit in here and what would be the hardware needed for that setup?

Make sure to purchase the IPad Pro. This Apple product connects to the USB port of bk-7m. A better connection verses going with those wireless BLE adapters. Believe me, experienced this on some gigs could not connect correctly if You forget how and what wireless to turn on first...your ipad is near the bk-7m anyway...from the bk-7m you can then go wireless...midi jacks are being phased out in newer keyboard products...just have a USB port...

That may pose a challenge, I use the USB port of the BK to hold a USB keys with prepared UPS sets per song... meaning I chose the UPD, it changes to the right rhythm, speed, instrument choices, setup and intros. Can the SongBook+ app do this instead or would something like this work?

Not a problem, I am talking about the square USB port In back. See this articles below...note the usb3 camera kit only works with iPad Pro.
