Anybody play OBS on accordion? I think it'd be very cool. Up there with "Flight of the Bumblebees"

Been here for ages!
EMAN or Ed does, I watched him play it while he was performing on his accordion during a folk festival. He did it VERY well !

He has not made many videos recently, he's moved from Florida to Tuscany Italy, that takes a good amount of time and commitment.

I sort of like the tune, but having gone to three music camps last month, two bluegrass and one fiddle and another fiddle camp in a week and a half, they never play OBS (Orange blossom special). I was told it is sort of banned as having been over played. My son learned it as a kid but never plays it now. I think it’s like always being asked to play Beer Barrel polka or Chicken Dance on the accordion, or Foggy Mountain Breakdown on the banjo. Another song fiddlers cringe at is Irish Washerwoman. I would guess, to much of a good thing!

Man, I used to dance my ass off to Orange Blossom Special. I'd probably drop dead now, lol. Been about 40 years since then. Never realized it was banned!

“Music” fashion is my wife telling me it’s not “in style” to wear white socks with sandals and having to explain that my legs are whiter than my socks so it should be cool! I never can figure out what’s vogue in music unless I’m told. I was told never ever play the likes of “Puff the Magic Dragon” at any old time fiddle type festival!

Bless your wife. Men wearing socks and sandals should be illegal. But as much as I would like to wear some style shoes without socks, alas, I cannot because my feet sweat too much and that would be nasty as hell. I see other guys do it and wonder if they maybe just don't have sweat glands in their feet.
