Hello everybody.
This weekend I took a side trip while visiting family in the capital to check out a used CBA accordion.
I really liked the accordion, which was listed by one of the teachers from the "Instituto de Acordeon" here in Chile. So knowing that the instruments plays nicely, and after giving it all the live testing I could think of I went with it.
I don't have much reference about the accordion in question. It's an LMM with 6 registers in the right hand and 2 in the left, French 3x3 Stradella with 120 buttons.
The teacher selling it tells me is from about 1970 and he bought it from another player some years ago. I don't have a model name. It plays nicely in the right hand specially, which was tuned recently. The left hand sounds right, but I feel could improve its responsiveness in the bass notes.
I'll take it with a luthier sometime during the year to have it check and add a few things (bellows straps and maybe something to have a better grip of the C, Ab, E notes in the left hand, since the texture is too subtle for me).
These were some of the pictures from the listing some months ago.

Now, the seller did some changes in between. Not sure I like them better. But this is how it's looking now:

Any clue as to what model could this be?. The original grill is no longer in the hands of the seller. Any idea if Maugein sells the parts for old accordions. I can see a metal grill in this one
Thanks in advance for any clue and tip you guys can provide.
Have a great week!
