Hello,

I was wondering if a club system could be a good option for blues music. I already play the blues on keybord in a Clifton Chenier way, but on the other side of the street, there is this boozoo Chavis diatonic life style wich is also very authenitc. If 2 rows seems to be definitly not enough for blues scale, and a texmex 3 rows, well, very texmex.. I think a club system may be a good option. Does anybody has an advice ?
Thank very much from France.

bignickcydeco on youtube seems to do the blues and zydeco well on the three row (texmex). the three row allows changing key when using different rows 2-3 or 1-2 . I have also considered using club for blues but not sure if it is better then 3-row. A CF 2 row allows for all notes of G major blues or E minor blues scale on the pull. The CF Club would add some more options such as the flatted fifth C# for G minor blues but there is no G minor chord available.

I'll play blues on club. I basically just emulate what Zydeco Joe did on 3-row. Club does a nice job with it.

Cedric Watson on 2-row - have to use the voice for the blue notes.

And a pokerwork:

Thank you for sharing all these resources and tips. It seems indeed that one can get the blues on any kind of box with talent. I think I'd like to try on a "Ouverture" because of the extra 7chord boutons. It's a very heavy model though..
