So now I am intrigued: a PA player who posts diatonic pieces, a Piaf musette player who goes for trad ( inspired at least ).
There is surely more to this?

Before playing the musette material I played traditional Irish and the traditional French (on PA). The preferred accordion for both of these styles leans heavily toward diatonic. Most of the accordion music I listen to is played on diatonic. The Celtic PA players that I like are Jimmy Keane, Phil Cunningham, Donald Shaw, and Sandy Brechin. And of course Richie Kelly (the king of ceili)
