use correct fingering

This has come up a few times before. Correct fingering is important which is why it is benefit to go to an accordion teacher for the first few weeks to prevent falling into bad habits. Then you can decide if you want to carry on having lessons or go it alone. Books can help but I believe not as good as a teacher.

Even for those wishing to play by ear having a few lessons , with the focus on instrumental technique and listening technique , can prevent going up many blind alleys. Those with a good 'headfull' of tunes will often then be able to 'get on with it' without the need to overindulge in musical theory.

An impressive bit of animation, that . . .

. . . and musical, too.

Plays itself better than I can play anything (with the possible exception of the bass fool, which I play fairly well!) :D
