Unknown Polka From 1938

I have an accordion book from 1938 that contains a song called Perky Polka although I cant find it under that name anywhere else. If anyone recognizes it or has a clue as to its origin Id be very interested to know. The sheet music is linked below.

Not exactly the same, but it's a bit reminiscent of the Jenny Lind Polka (also known as the Heel/Toe Polka).

What's the name of the book it's from?

My guess from both the tune itself and the title is that it was written by whoever compiled the book.

Yeah, Im with TomBR. That tune was most likely written by the author of the method book. This is fairly common for instructional materials.
