Now here's a true virtuoso and jazz legend doing it.

Note that one of the bassists is Scandinavian, the legendary Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, along with the master, Ray Brown and the incomparable Oscar Peterson.

Oscar Peterson was the master of technique on the Ivories in his time and maybe still ! Great jazz pianist ! I have a number of his vinyls !

I agree. He could do it all. Block chords, open chords, substitute harmonies, etc, etc.

I never played (drums) with Oscar, but I did play with Joe Pass who recorded many things with Oscar. Joe spoke in reverence of Oscar and btw, highly regarded Tommy Gumina as well. I did hear Oscar live twice in my life. Once before and once after his stroke.
