I am waiting for my new Pigini 37 B3 to arrive from the factory. They said July but now we are in to the end of August. i am so tired of waiting.

Convertor 37/B 3, http://www.pigini.com/en/prodotti/convertor-series/item/convertor-37b3
Black colour,
C Griff (C=1st row) at right and left hand
In LMM,
Frequency: 440HZ,
American Tremolo 8 cents
Special tone range at right hand, starting from low E to E,
C+ F marked both hands
HAND MADE REEDS
Felted mechanism, straps, back pad, wooden case

I waited years trying to find a good 2nd hand converter in the states and finally had to buy new. I have been told the week of 8/24.

How did you arrive at the E to E range? That seems like kind of a key factor in how an accordion sounds - I mean if you're obliged to play a passage an octave higher, obviously that's going have a profound impact! But right off the top of my head I can't think how I'd decide in advance.

It'll be worth the wait
My new accordion was promised in 4 to 6 months and it took 9 in the end :(

I remember waiting for my FR-8X. I didn't have to wait long, but it was like waiting for Christmas!!!! I was so excited!!!! I hope you enjoy your new instrument!!! I love mine!!!!

Happened to practice all day today!!!!

Hi Donn
I decided on the E to E rather than the G to G because I play most in that lower octave and I really miss the low F when it is set up G to G

mine was promised in 3 to 4 months and arrived in 3 weeks, some explaining to do then to my wife

Well Russ
When I ordered my Cooperativa, I had to wait for a year! I was promised three months but the Continent has a very different understanding of time in certain places than others!
It was worth the wait though!

I went over a bunch of accordion photos - its like every accordion in Portugal is for sale, unfortunately, most of them French style chromatic buttons - and of those that have black buttons that reveal the keyboard layout, the only bottom note I didnt see was G. Mines Bb - so at times I wish it were G!

I would be surprised if the accordion arrived in August. Several accordion factories close for the month of August so when you miss the end of July it automatically becomes September or later. Pigini is a very successful brand nowadays which may result in long waiting times especially if you want something special (like that E to E range).
But you can get lucky. We ordered a C-griff 440-tuned 3-reed basson accordion which is very rare and we got it after only about 2 months. That was fast!

You are right Pigini was on vacation but they had arranged to have the accordion sent - It showed up yesterday - it is so nice having a multi reed quality instrument. I am a happy man.

Congatulations on the new Accordion

I know what its like to have to wait. what seems forever, for a new accordion, especially when the factories are shut over summer.

Enjoy
