So the accordion of my dreams is probably the British Chromatic Accordion - which is actually a big diatonic B/C/C+ with a stradella bass system of some sort. This would fit my B/C playing needs, but adds more basses, more chord possibilities, and more voices than I currently have. It should be tremendously versatile. They typically come with a pretty wet Scottish musette.
So a couple of Super Salas B/C/C+ boxes have appeared, and these would seem to be quality instruments from the 1950s/60. But if anyone here can offer more guidance on the brand, I'd welcome it.
Thanks!
Well, never mind anyway, it's a non starter as the two people in the UK with the B/C/C+ boxes won't ship to the USA.
