Found this in a used book store and it's been really helpful for me as a pianist learning the Stradella bass.
"Sillari Piano Accordion Method in Bass Clef for 120 Bass Accordion Vol. 1". It's from 1939 by Alfred Sillari. Kind of surprised I don't see it mentioned in any of the posts. Now I'm looking for Vol. 2.
Might be that it's just because of the way I learn, but it's really thorough in working through all possible combinations of learning 5 or 6 of the fundamental and counter basses solo and with right hand. I stay on the 2 pages that cover the new stuff until I can play them without thinking. It's incremental so you learn something new and practice it with the old in each lesson.
Plus, I don't have to put up with little drawings of ducks and frogs. Not that I mind ducks and frogs....
If anyone knows where I can find Vol. 2, I'd appreciate it. A search of the internet turned up nothing. Thanks.
