Can you tell me what my Ford is worth please? (lol) Wouldn't you agree that there is a good amount of information missing?
You know, you could try to maybe post a clear, well lit picture or 3 of the outside, and if you were semi-serious about getting a better response, you would even post pictures of the insides, so that the condition of the bellows and reeds can be clearly seen. Now, though it is common sense to know that the outside of an instrument will only give you cursive and speculative ideas of the value, but knowing the insides are what define the value... and then if you were very serious, you would include a video of you playing it so that people could tell that it worked and possibly even if it was in tune or not.
I will add this. It is a sort of running joke here that many times people post exactly such requests thinking that they own some kind of rare jewel of great value. Truth is, 99% of the time the words "vintage" and "accordion" mean "old, abused and of little to no value". This is not always the case, but it is the vast majority.
If you provide us with the necessary info for one of our more knowledgeable people could at least try to make a more realistic evaluation.
Im sorry, no offence intended - it was my attempt at some gentle humour! But given the amount of information youd posted, the gist of it still holds true. See Jerrys much better explanation above...
I have an old 80 bass Settimio Soprani, on which I spent £350 getting it refurbished. The repairer told me that in good condition, they are worth about £2500. Is it playable and does it sound nice? Are the questions. Otherwise, something is generally worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
